Oklahoma City firm Blueknight Energy Partners on Wednesday announced plans to build a $300 million, 160-mile crude oil pipeline from the east Texas Eaglebine/Woodbine play to the Oiltanking Houston terminal. The pipeline will have an initial capacity of 100,000 barrels per day, expandable to 200,000 barrels per day. Construction is set to begin immediately, and the pipeline is expected to be complete by March 2016.
“The Eaglebine/Woodbine region is emerging as one of the most prolific crude oil plays in the country and the area needs new infrastructure to realize its full potential,” said Blueknight CEO Mark Hurley.
