Striking workers at BP’s Whiting, Ind., refinery approved a new four-year contract Monday and will begin returning to work May 18, Reuters reports. The workers have been on strike since Feb. 8. BP has used temporary replacement workers to keep the refinery running.
Workers are still on strike at BP’s Toledo, Ohio, refinery and Marathon Petroleum’s Galveston Bay refinery in Texas City, Texas.
