Marathon Petroleum will postpone planned maintenance at its Garyville, Louisiana, refinery from January to September, according to a report released last week. Via Reuters, the work will coincide with 50-60 days work on an FCCU, alkylation units and related processes.
Marathon in October cancelled a $2.5 billion project that would have allowed the Garyville refinery to produce ultra-low-sulfur diesel from residual oil.
