Federal regulators approved a plan by Columbia Pipeline to build a natural gas pipeline that will supply the Cameron LNG facility in southwest Louisiana. Via the Baton Rouge Advocate, the $310 million Cameron Access Project will include improvements to a Columbia’s existing pipeline network and a new compressor station near Lake Arthur, Louisiana, in addition to the 26-mile pipeline. The project is expected to begin construction in 2016 and be complete in the first quarter of 2018.
