The Aruba refinery will begin hiring workers to repair and upgrade the idled facility in April, Reuters reports. Last month Citgo Petroleum began restarting some units at the refinery, which halted production in 2012 amid low profit margins. Citgo signed a memorandum of understanding with the Aruba government in September to explore upgrading and restarting the refinery.
Reuters notes that the parties are far from determining a date to begin restarting the refinery.
