Marathon Petroleum will start up a new 35,000-barrel-per-day condensate splitter at its Catlettsburg, Ky., refinery in May, Reuters reports. Marathon CEO Gary Heminger said today the splitter is in the final stages of construction. The company started up a 25,000-barrel-per-day splitter at its Canton, Ohio, refinery last December.
