Three workers and one firefighter were injured in a fire at a Lubrizol warehouse near Pittsburgh today, the Associated Press reports. The fire started as workers were pouring fracking chemicals into a production tank. More than 70 homes near the warehouse were evacuated.
Local authorities said the fire was mostly extinguished early this afternoon, but that people in the area could experience non-fatal respiratory irritation from inhaling ammonium persulfate and sodium chlorite.
