Shell today reported its Houston-to-Houma (Ho-Ho) pipeline was shut down after a puncture leaked 364 barrels of crude oil near Port Neches, Texas, Thursday afternoon. Via Reuters, Shell said crews are using absorbent booms to contain the leak. It was reported in late January that Shell is looking for a partner to buy a $1 billion stake in the pipeline. Shell is thought to be seeking to recover costs associated with reversing the Ho-Ho pipeline, a project completed in December. The Ho-Ho pipeline delivers crude oil from the Eagle Ford and Bakken shale plays to the Gulf Coast.
