Philadelphia Energy Solutions (PES) shut down a gasoline-making unit in the Girard Point section of its Philadelphia refinery Wednesday, Reuters reports. Sources say the 85,000-barrel-per-day unit was shut down due to an air blower failure. PES was reportedly making plans to restart the unit, but Reuters notes that the company is now said to be in the market to buy gasoline.
