Shell is planning to begin a four-week turnaround at its monoethylene glycol unit in Geismar, Louisiana, this month or in April, Platts reports. A source said the turnaround had been pushed back from February and could be delayed again. Shell did not provide details on its plans.
Shell last month broke ground on a $717 million linear alpha olefins unit at the Geismar site.
