The Center for Responsible Shale Development (CRSD) recently revealed Chevron Appalachian Mountain Business Unit has been successfully recertified to the center's 15 environmental performance standards. Initially certified in September 2014, Chevron has demonstrated ongoing conformance with the center's 15 performance standards focused on responsible stewardship of air and water resources.
The recertification process included documentation and record reviews, field and office personnel interviews, and field inspections at a cross section of the company's operations throughout the Appalachian Basin.
