A contract worker was hospitalized after an explosion Tuesday at the Plant Bowen power plant near Cartersville, Georgia. Via the Cartersville Patch, the contractor was performing offline maintenance on electrical equipment when he suffered burns from an electrical flash. Georgia Power is investigating the cause of the incident.
