Ineos declares force majeure after Chocolate Bayou equipment failure

Ineos has declared force majeure on co-polymer polypropylene supplies from its Chocolate Bayou plant in Alvin, Texas, Platts reports. The company said in a letter to its customers an equipment failure at the plant resulted in limited operations. The Chocolate Bayou plant is one of three Ineos polypropylene facilities in the U.S., along with sites in Deer Park, Texas, and Carson, California.
