MDU Resources Group said today it would delay the start-up of the North Dakota diesel refinery it is developing with Calumet Specialty Products Partners to the second quarter of 2015. The Dakota Prairie Refining facility was set to begin production Dec. 31, but severe weather in November and late project revisions necessitated the delay. MDU also said the project is expected to cost more than $400 million. Initial estimates set the cost at $300 million.
