Flint Hills Resources and Stabilis Energy announced plans to buy property in Odessa, Texas, for their second planned LNG facility. The firms’ first jointly developed LNG facility is set to open in George West, Texas, in January and will serve Eagle Ford shale customers. The Odessa facility, which will serve high-horsepower oilfield fuel applications in the Permian Basin, could begin operating in 2016.
