Magellan Midstream Partners and TransMontaigne Partners are considering building a 150-mile, 150,000-barrel-per-day refined products pipeline from Corpus Christi to Brownsville, Texas. The two firms said in a statement today the pipeline would meet market demand in Brownsville and other parts of South Texas before transporting products into Mexico. The pipeline capacity could be expanded to 250,000 barrels per day, they said. The project could be complete by the end of 2018.
