PITTSBURGH — MSA recently made a few executive leadership changes. Joseph Bigler, formerly president of MSA’s North American business segment, has been appointed to the newly created role of vice president and chief customer officer. He will be responsible for leading the global development and implementation of a customer experience framework that identifies and improves a broad range of critical customer touch points. Nish Vartanian, formerly vice president of MSA’s Fixed Gas and Flame Detection business, was elected president of MSA North America. Stacy McMahan has been elected as CFO and treasurer, formerly held by Dennis Zeitler, who will retire from the company in August. McMahan will retain her role as senior vice president as well, and Zeitler will serve as a special adviser to MSA President and CEO William M. Lambert until retirement.
