WADSWORTH, Ohio — H&S Tool has released its new model BFC-72 split frame field machining tool. The model has a standard working range from 58 inches (1,473.2 millimeters) to 72 inches (1,828.8 millimeters). The addition of this model expands the company’s product offerings to cut, bevel and perform custom machining applications for materials from a half inch (25.4 millimeters) to 72 inches (1,828.8 mm).
Like all of the extra heavy-duty BFC series models, the BFC-72 has the H&S Tool features that have driven the product line expansion. The reliability of these tools is enhanced with the patented outboard bearing on the motor gear drive assembly. Further strengthening of the gear drive is achieved with their exclusive machined pocket in the ring gear body, which provides a solid lock between the drive and ring gears. The unique ring-mounted roller bearing design has also been awarded a U.S. patent. The tool slide trip handle also has a U.S. patent. The design increases operator safety by increasing the distance between the operator’s hand and moving parts.
