WADSWORTH, Ohio — H&S Tool recently introduced another larger, split-frame OD mount pipe machining tool. Designated the model BFC-86, it machines pipes and resurfaces flanges from 72 inches to 86 inches (1828.8 millimeters to 2184.4 millimeters). This model brings its total number of tools in the split-frame OD mount product line to 26. The product line consists of the MFC-2 (one-half inch to 2-inch working range), 18 models in the AFC series (for pipes from one-inch to 48 inches) and seven models in its extra heavy duty BFC series (22-inch to 86-inch pipes). The BFC-86 is a four-section design for more efficient shipping and handling. Like all H&S split frame machines, the body is an aluminum alloy material for excellent strength to weight ratio. It has the popular U.S. patented features that have made them the tool of choice by many field-machining professionals.
