HOUSTON — Three exterior ramp towers at the Houston Reliant Astrodome were felled by explosives as part of ongoing Reliant Astrodome site work. The ramp removal didn’t impact the Astrodome structure.
Cherry took down the 100-foot concrete ramps — approximately 10,000 tons of concrete material. This material will be recycled at one of Cherry’s five Houston area recycling centers.
