WEST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. — A new Veolia electronics recycling facility that serves businesses and consumers in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states has opened in West Bridgewater. The facility features the latest state-of-the-art recycling of fluorescent lamps, ballast, batteries, computer electronics and mercury-bearing waste.
“As technology improves, we’re able to break down and reclaim even more materials, especially hazardous materials, and prevent them from entering the waste stream,” said Jim Bell, CEO and president of Veolia ES Technical Solutions. “Our investment in this facility represents our commitment to finding better solutions for lighting and electronic waste as well as ways to minimize the impact of waste on our environment.”
