The Voluntary Protection Programs Participants' Association (VPPPA) has partnered with the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). Both organizations recognize the benefits of a collaborative partnership to improve occupational safety and health professionals and practitioners.
VPPPA and BCSP will use their collaborative efforts and expertise to improve the protection of workers through effective prevention strategies and technologies. They also aim to encourage students and other professionals to choose occupational safety and health as a career and advance their competency in that field.
"This agreement is advantageous for both VPPPA and BCSP. But most importantly, it will benefit the health and safety community," said VPPPA Chairperson Mike Guillory. "Protecting, educating and advocating for our community is, after all, what we're all here to do."
