HOUSTON — Wood Group Field Services (WGFS) recently hosted an open house at its Gulf Coast regional office and workshop in Houston. High on the agenda was to showcase recent investments made in precision alignment technology such as its Lieca Laser Tracker, specialized Westinghouse 501F tooling and induction bolt heating equipment. In addition, there was an opportunity to promote several new training programs including shaft alignment, steam turbine overhaul, reciprocating compressor overhaul and change-out of ISO carbon seals.
WGFS Regional Vice President John Hanks said, “This was an all-day event and well supported by customers such as Calpine, NRG, Shell, Valero, LyondellBasell, Air Liquide and Air Products, to name just a few.”
