A section of Sunoco Logistics Partners’ Mid-Valley Pipeline was shut down after a Monday oil leak in Caddo Parish, La. Via the Wall Street Journal, no injuries have been reported and the spill did not affect nearby Caddo Lake. Sunoco has yet to determine the cause of the leak, which was discovered by pipeline control room operators.
The Mid-Valley Pipeline transports oil from Longview, Texas, to Samaria, Mich., where it serves Midwest refineries. Sunoco shut down a section between Longview and Mayersville, Miss.
