Linde Group on Tuesday cut ribbon on a $200 million expansion at its gas plant in La Porte, Texas. Via FuelFix, Linde Americas President Pat Murphy said it is the first in a series of investments at the plant, as the company tries to capitalize on cheap natural gas prices. Linde added a third gasification train to the plant, making it the largest of its kind in the world. The expansion also included a new air separation unit that began operating in April.
