Enterprise Products Partners plans to build a new natural gas processing plant and pipelines in Eddy County, N.M. The new South Eddy plant will initially process 200 million cubic feet per day of Delaware Basin gas, with potential for expansion later. Enterprise will also build 80 miles of natural gas gathering pipelines and a 75-mile NGL pipeline to its Hobbs NGL fractionation and storage facility in Gaines County, Texas.
Enterprise said the connection at Hobbs would provide its customers with access to its Mont Belvieu, Texas, NGL fractionation facility. The company announced on Monday it would build a ninth fractionator at the Mont Belvieu complex.
Enterprise COO Jim Teague said volumes into the company’s existing Delaware Basin facilities have doubled in the past two years and existing infrastructure is operating at full capacity.
